Thanksgiving @ Grandma Karen's

So, I am attempting to get the blog caught up-to-date. We went to Karen's for Thanksgiving this year and had a great time!

The day after Thanksgiving we went the Grass Valley craft faire and Kayla got to see Santa and Mrs. Claus for the first time!

It has been way too long!

I know, I know, it has been way too long! We have been so busy with trying to finalize everything with selling our condo and looking for a new house. I only have one more week of school left, so I will have more free time very soon! It will take me a few posts to get up-to-date, but back in early November we all went to visit Uncle Jeff in Utah. One of his friends is a photographer and she was able to capture some great shots of Kayla and the family! These are just a few of the awesome pictures she got!

5 months & Halloween Pictures!

Hi everyone! Sorry it has been so long since we have posted. I guess I just haven't been taking many pictures, so there hasn't been a lot to post. Michael so nicely reminded me that the blog needed a new post, so it was perfect timing because we just got some new pictures! We are excited for Kayla's 1st Halloween...as you can see she is the cutest little ladybug!

New Pictures!

I just wanted to post some new pictures we had taken of Kayla. We tried the JC Penney portrait studio for the first time and pictures came out great! Let us know what you think!

4 months!

Kayla is 4 months old today! We got her pictures taken yesterday at Babies'r'us and she gave us some good smiles. She is getting so big and is developing such a personality. It is so much fun!

Good News!

We got some good news today...Kayla does not have to wear her braces anymore! The Doctor said that the braces have done what they need to do, so we do not need to go back and see him until June once she starts walking. We cannot believe how big Kayla is getting. She is now starting to sit up and is really interested in playing! We are getting her 4 month pictures taken on Friday, so I will post those once I have them.

Go for the GOLD!

Like many of you, we are really enjoying watching the Olympics! I think even Kayla is getting used to seeing the Olympics of TV every night! Here is a quick picture of her on the couch watching the excitement!

Cruising!

We are home from our cruise and we had a blast!! It seems like Kayla is going to be quite a traveler. We had so much fun with both of our families and we can't wait for another trip! As you can imagine Kayla got plenty of attention from everyone! Here are some pictures from the cruise!

Baby Einstein

Kayla has a new favorite thing! She loves her Baby Einstein videos! We ordered a whole set of these videos and so far, she loves all of them! The videos are not too exciting for Keith and I, but as long as Kayla likes them I guess we will sacrifice. We are getting ready for our cruise! We leave on Monday morning for Kayla's first vacation and we could not be more excited!

Sleeping!

We reached a milestone last night! Kayla slept from 11:00p.m. to 5:00a.m. We could not believe it! We have been waiting for this night for a long time now. I don't want to get too excited, but for a while I never thought this day would come! Here is Kayla taking a little morning nap...amazing it is not in the swing seat=)

4th of July

We hope everyone had an awesome 4th of July! We were so excited to have Uncle Michael come to visit for a few days. It was so great for him to finally meet Kayla! We went to Uncle Bill's for a bbq and a parade. We decorated her stroller and Michael and I walked Kayla in the parade. You can see her stroller in the pictures. She is growing more and more each day. She has started smiling and cooing when you talk to her! It is so much fun!

Weekend of Fun!

We had another busy weekend full of fun! On Saturday we had Faith's 3rd birthday party and on Sunday we had Jill and Joe's engagement party! We feel like the fun never ends for Kayla. She is starting to be quite the social butterfly! She is starting to be so expressive and her personality is really starting to show!

Bath & Play time

Kayla loves her bath! We think she likes to get clean just like her daddy! She also loves to sit up and see what is going on. Here she is in her swing seat!

Happy Father's Day!

We hope everyone had a happy Father's Day! Unfortunately, Keith had to work early, but we were able to celebrate by going out to dinner. Here is proud Daddy with Kayla on his 1st Father's Day, and all 3 of us together!

Busy Weekend!

Kayla and I had such a busy weekend! On Saturday we had a bridal shower for Jamie (Keith's cousin Ryan's fiance) and a baby shower for Nicole. And on Sunday we had another baby shower for Nicole as well. Here is a picture of Tiffany and Ashlyn, Kayla and I, and Nicole and soon to be Ryder. It's not a very good picture of the little ones, but they were sleeping =)

4 Weeks Old!

Kayla is 4 weeks old today, and we cannot believe how fast the time has gone! We had a nice relaxing weekend, and we are excited for Uncle Jeff to meet Kayla today! He will be visiting this week.
